About Course
Summary
The Future of AI is a shorter, discussion-based briefing for leaders who need a clear-eyed view of where AI is headed over the next twelve to twenty-four months — not a hands-on workshop, but a session built to inform real decisions. It applies the same sober, no-hype approach as the rest of the Envigs programme to the trends, capability shifts and governance questions leadership teams are being asked to have a view on.
Who Should Attend
- Senior leaders, executive teams and board members who need to plan for AI’s trajectory without operating the tools themselves
- Strategy, planning and risk functions preparing recommendations for leadership
- Anyone who has sat through vendor pitches about AI’s future and wants an independent, evidence-based read before committing budget or attention
Course Description
The session covers four things directly: where the technology is genuinely headed against where the marketing claims outrun it; the shift from chat tools toward agentic and embedded AI, and what that shift changes for an organisation that hasn’t yet adopted either; the workforce and organisational implications leadership will be asked about, whether or not there is a ready answer; and the regulatory and governance questions worth raising now rather than after a decision is made.
This is a briefing and discussion format, not a workshop: no laptops, no exercises in the AI Foundations sense. The value is in the conversation it generates among the leadership team in the room, and the course is structured to produce that conversation rather than talk through it.
It closes by having the room name the two or three actual decisions their organisation will face in the next year, and who owns each one turning a broad briefing into a concrete, dated agenda item rather than a one-off presentation that is forgotten by the following week.
